A classic whodunit giallo and one of the best in the
genre, if not a top ten absolutely in the top 20 gialli.
The film takes place in a high-rise building where Jennifer (Edwige
Fenech) and Marilyn (Paola Quattrini)
shares an apartment. It starts with a brutal scalpel killing in an elevator
and followed later by a drowning
in a bathtub homage to Mario Bava's "Blood and Black Lace".
Jennifer's boyfriend is Andrea (George Hilton) who plays an architect
that can't stand the sight of blood.
Who dun it ? Lots of red herrings. Could it be Jennifer's
stalking sex cult leader ex-husband, the old lady,
the violin playing professor (George Rigaud), his lesbian daughter Sheila
(Annabella Contrera), Andrea
or the black girl (Carla Brait) ?
The fine soundtrack by Bruno Nicolai.
