A beautifully shot and mysterious crime story
that somehow got stuck in my
head. Maybe due to the quite unusual and surprisingly strong Feel Bad
moment
of the film. I didn't see that coming and I would've preferred not to
have seen it.
Yes, i'm getting mushy with age and can even cry when watching sad scenes
(you just wait and see, it may happen to you too).
A Chinese man on his honeymoon trip to some Thailand
type of country,
Mr. He Fei (Zhu Yi Long) reports to the
local police that his wife Li Muzi
(Huang Ziqi) has gone missing but the police ignores him as many
tourists often
goes hither and dither when on holiday in Thailand.
One morning he wakes up with a woman lying at his side, a total stranger
to
He Fei. She says she's his wife and that she has been away on her own
for 15
days on Musan island, and she knows everything about them. She has her
passport to prove it, that she really is Li Muzi (Janice Man). She also
has a
scar like her and a mobile phone with photos of them both.
Is He Fei crazy or is there a conspiracy ? He Fei starts
sleuthing and gets
himself a lawyer, Chen Mai (Ni Ni). She never loses a case, and can
she help
He Fei and solve the mystery ? What could a possible motive be ?
