A mildly entertaining Hong Kong apocalyptic horror-melodrama-action
and comedy where zombies plague the streets ....
and also desperate real estate agents attacks people with prospects,
maybe an even worse plague than the zombies.
Not much of a story, just a couple of people fleeing and fighting against
the usual horde of undead (and real estate agents)
and Carrie Ng, once something of the princess of category III movies,
can be seen in a small role (she's far right on the
DVD sleeve on the pic above). Her role as the lesbian hitwoman "Princess"
in the 1992 Cat. III trash epos Naked Killer by
Clarence Fok puts her eternally in the exploitation crime action Hall
of Fame.
A middle-aged man, Wing (Alex Man), is released from
prison after a 10 year stint and searches for his son Lone (Michael
Ning) to do atonement for being a bad father. Lone has been taken cared
of by Shan (Carrie Ng) and he lives with her and
her niece Yit (Cherry Ngan). His best buddy is Yeung (Louis Cheung)
and they work as mascots at events or childrens
birthday parties, but they also read a lot of manga and secretely the
duo are heroes Double Dragons of Heaven and Earth.
Suddenly a chicken monster attacks people and turn them
into zombies, and soon the apocalypse has started. People
struggle to stay alive and and a female taekwondo expert is added to
the group, will they survive?
